Two words, dear readers, and then goodnight indeed: Testimony envy.
Backstory:
On Sunday people were talking in Sunday school about testimonies. You know, conversion experiences.
Many people who've never had a conversion experience, or not an exciting one, for some pathetic reason feel like lesser Christians because they haven't got a blinding-light-and-speaking-ass sort of story to tell.
For the record, I've never had a conversion experience, so it's not like I'm up with the Holies and God, looking down on the earthly pragmatists.
I'm not that petty.
But somebody referred to this phenomenon of self-conscious Christians never struck by the Spirit in a powerful way as "testimony envy."
The end.

I certainly hope not...
This little gem will start us out nicely.
What's interesting here is that not all the bulletins were incorrect. Mine, for instance, was correct. A friend with a sharp eye found this on his/her own, and pointed it out.
Anyway, I hope He doesn't feel the need to resign, or we're all screwed.
Point of interest, "The Last Words of David" is a wonderful arrangement, and one of the best pieces we've sung as a choir.

The Mormons win and get their version posted. Too much drum and trumpets and fanfare, but overall best quality.
